why so many stems leak

I started trading in 2019 to get better access to MTs so I can eventually remix them. Then, things happened:

- (some) MTs i got through trade or were planning to trade got leaked
- (some) MTs that I wished for got leaked (incl MJ)

So not a big loss or gain. Money was not involved for me. People that loss or gain money with MTs, well, it was not really a 'proper' way to do things. But I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing cuz there's little opportunity to get it anyway.

What would be good tho, if it is legally available for purchase on a web store, is to NOT leak it publically ( as a general thing for everyone). Because there IS a proper way to buy it, and we can support the efforts to bring more content. (like RH/MTM)

i've never really had much to trade hence not having access to private collections for trading etc, so i am thankful that there has been so much leaked over the last 2 years especially.

I got scammed out of $200 in January because someone claimed to have stems of Enter Shikari's The Spark album, I got excited and blindly sent the money for two songs with no proof of the files.
 
I pretty much agree with everyone's comments here. I would like to remind people though that there are Terms & Conditions to being a member of this site (which can be found by scrolling to the bottom of any page here). I would encourage everyone to re-read these terms.

Although "what I hear can be taken with a pinch of salt it would be great to think there is this much stuff available.

great stuff! I was wondering if you knew of extra songs from that list you posted at the beginning , and here again, but i guess that is it. From what I can see most of that list has now been released here just a few songs left ... the biggest for me that im waiting for is Beyoncé Ft. Jay Z Crazy In Love 8 WAV. and im still hoping you can get the version with more tracks :)

I guess we ll wait and see :)
with those 100 artists you posted right now .... we could see some real gems

Exactly Change Searching Leaked and that wasn't on the list, A source said that list was less than 10% of whats really out there but I guess we wont find out for a while.One thing is certain though people will buy people will sell and stuff will leak, There is no chance that the interest will just die out so on we go.

I remember when I first made Karaokes of the Starset tracks, from files I actually got from Literecords.

Some dudes came in and aggressively got angry on my channel, pounding it with downvotes and finding my fb and threatening that the lawyers were coming for me. I had to bend to the pressure and take the videos down because frankly, even if the legal stuff was bull, their ability to cause havok on my channel was not. So I waited until the tracks leaked on reddit and THEN re-posted the videos, at which point I was left alone.

I've never liked trading culture. I don't see how it helps anyone to with-hold resources. I do feel a very real joyous glee at the notion that it's all being torn to shreds.
