I love Omnisphere for the pads, however for fast & quick work I tend to go with Vanguard (REFX) a lot!

on some productions i like to strictly use the fl studio's vsts like 3xOsc, sytrus, and wasp xt...you can get some very surprising results.
on the other hand Gladiator, Synth1, and V-Station is what i mainly use

Nexus, Z3ta, and as a effect channel I like Guitar Rig 4 and the Fruity Multiband Compressor

Battery 3 is invaluable. Peach, a free gameboy emulator by tweakbench is one i use alot, as is the good ol arturia minimoog. Also M-Tron.

old synths but Great VST plugins...

and don't forget NI Kontakt of course...
