What other sites do you visit?

Hello, guys.
I'm so glad I've just signed up after a couple of days trying (there was some captcha bug server issue), please don't ban me if there's something wrong with the post, i'll fix it :). I'm searchin' this kind of content not to mix, but to play along on drums. I'm just commited to music and that's it :). Ok, let's go

rutracker - big torrent-tracker in russian, lots of stuff, always first one to me searching something;

freshsound - popular local recourse with mixing/making content, soft, soundbanks etc.;

musicroom - retail site with backing tracks, clinics, books etc.;

AudioZ - kind of warez site, has some widely-spread (on web) material;

not to mention a4a :D

Singing station - this is a kind of stem e-shop I've met a lot. They're all look similar, seem to have the same content, but have minor finish/price differences. Another one, finished better is songgalaxy. This one is just a little cheaper than the others I've come trough. The content basically is midi/multitrack/playalong/etc. covers, where the instrumental part sound pretty alike the original, but vocals are not :) As the original hits' acapellas are not so hard to find, and drum track I usually don't need, works for me pretty good.

Think, there's a tiny possibility that you guys might have already known some of these :D
Nevertheless, save the tomatoes, have mercy on new man :)

hey mate, i have not heard good things about a4a, how is your experience with them? will check out song galaxy.

Hey, it's seems to me, that on this site people don't like it. I didn't use it a lot yet, just searched some multitracks.

For gods sake,so what if 'on this site people dont like it'

The dude danizm asked about your experience with them,not what people on here thought of it.

On this site 'there is no bullshit'

So put that in a big massive peace pipe and smoke it in one....FAST! while you are at it try some peace crisps when you get hungry......

This is the best website for music production you are ever likely to be lucky enough to glance your eyeballs upon,so enjoy it!!!!!!

and before you comment back.....

I don't suffer from insanity -----> I enjoy every minute of it

:D

ok well here is my 2 cents, i personally really like this site and am glad im a part of it, at first i didnt understand the rep system but once i got my head around it i actually really like it. And i also like the fact that there are rules and no one is exempt from them, i had to learn the hard way initially LOL... i would say the only drawback ive noticed is what the others have stated in regards to a few of the other areas such as posting ur own remixes / mashups etc dont get much attention but that is ok i can live with that.. And as for the social aspect i guess its the same as meeting a bunch of new people in real life, trust needs to be given and earned before people will start to interact and open up... so im a newbie and will pay my dues in that respect... keep up the good work fellas!

Well now.....I like the positive feedback,and you are definitlely correct.Trust and respect needs to be earned but thats not difficult.We (the staff & long term members) do not need to earn trust or respect from members,it is the member that needs to earn it from us.Opening up and interacting is a good way to do this either by using the forum or public chatbox (as opposed to just using LR to get files).Being helpful towards others and sharing content is another way to gain respect/trust.

Just dont be an idiot and you will be fine.People that complain & break rules are certainly not gonna get themselves anywhere fast.Im not calling you an idiot btw thats just a general piece of advice for any member that cares to read this post.

I believe we shared a fairly good conversation recently did we not? .....and listened to each others music on soundcloud.....I may be mistaken as I do tend to converse with a lot of people and listen to a lot of music,never mind making sure members behave themselves.

As for the remixes section,there is a new system implemented whereby if you listen to someones tune and rate it,you will be awarded a rep for doing so and leaving feedback.This is a good way to earn rep if you have nothing to share or don't wanna purchase rep or a gold account.
Don't abuse this system though.....its carefully monitored and you will get into trouble for doing so.Again,just a general piece of information/advice for anybody who cares to read this.

As for the social aspect,there is a public chatbox and feel free to talk to any of us or ask for advice anytime.We welcome friendliness and aim to help members that can follow rules.

We pride oueselves upon the friendly and professional manner in which this website is run,as well upon the fun there is to be had once you become an established member.

:)
