Is there any quality control here?

I've just downloaded "Barbie Girl - Near studio Acapella" which is very far from any studio quality.
Can you introduce any measures to stop things like this from happening? Can we come up with some quality grading guides or similar criteria? Because this is really bad. Makes me want to not try some other DIYs... Which may be a shame as some of them are great. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is any "quality control" measures LR can take. We can make guidelines, but people will just overlook them. I believe our members are our "quality control". If you download a DIY and it sounds like absolute crap, just edit your reply with "not studio quality" and message one of the staff here, and I'm sure they will reimburse you the credit and change thread title. at least if a staff member can't change it, your reply of "not studio quality" will warn other members not to download.

Instead of messaging staff please use 'Report Post', we can deal with it better there. We would reimburse your credit, rename the thread title and issue an infraction to the original poster for mislabelling.

We do not host file ourselves as we are not a download site so we do not have any quality control. What members choose to share is their choice and we have guidelines in place. If they do not use them then we will discipline.
