I have my 18th party coming up in October and i need music. If anyone has any good remixes that they would allow me to use and would suit a party then i would be extremely grateful. Also, suggestions for any songs would be appreciated. im not quite sure what genre im looking for, just something that would work well at an 18th.

The most popular genre on this forum is UK Hardcore.

Therefore I would recommend deleting this thread and finding a forum who's music taste isn't completely awful.
 
Rofl @vibe, I'd go for house tbh. Anything by afrojack, laid-back Luke, Steve angello, Swedish house mafia, Calvin harris & deadmau5.
Or you could go for dubstep, chase & status, Nero & skrillex are pretty big names, although I'd be skeptical about playing skrillex as there's alot of controversy about his euphoric melodies & aggressive basslines.
 
You guys are funny. As a working DJ and former party-DJ i can help you out a lot, but i need to know if your keeping to a genre or is it just a typical girl's 18th?...

well me and my mate are doing a split party, so we talked and figured out that house, dance and a small ammount of dubstep would work. dubstep im fine with finding, been listing to a ton lately. just need some help with house and dance.
 
My suggestions should do you fine then :) what type of house? Electro house, progressive house, fidget house, minimal? Etc. Or are you not too fussed?
 
Dont think it would matter for a 18th party what the sub genre is. Commercial house should do you good. LMFAO, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and my personal fav, wolfgang gartner etc cant fail. Sure Brad can pitch in more !
