Have you downloaded a pella loaded here ? Have you made a remix of it ? Why not post it here and show the community here what you are capable of. The ratio of people downloading acapellas/remix stems to the people showing their talents in the "your tunes" section is apalling. Am sure most of you are not going commercial with them as you will need to pay royalties for the stuff you use. Hence if you got a remix, show case it here. This is one place to get better feedback and get your songs played by the network of DJ's here. Show us what you got people!
 
The rep system will always remain. How generous or strict i think we must be with it regarding registrations and download limits may be questioned though. I think we provide a fair and firm approach with downloading and we also provide a service that most of our rivals havnt or cant compete with. Some of our rival sites are becoming dormant and extinct pretty fast, as we are growing in members but also rule breaking or ignorance (as we expected). Keeping on top of this will take a lot of effort and ideas from all of us but im willing to do everything i can to keep Lazy Records online... till death do us part!
 
Any means is fine. You can host it on LR itself. See the sticky on getting you own space and then you can up stuff, and share it here :)
 
"links to people's sites"..? It depends what you mean by this. When its a link to a non-public file host then it must be a direct file link. We dont allow you to insert a link that sends members to another page on a different site.
 
No no.. sorry i thought you was referring to files in download sections like acapellas, instrumentals etc. Yes you can link to any site anywhere aslong as it isnt a file in the download sections.

Well I'm just getting back into the game of music and I have to say if I downloaded something from here it would be quite a LONG time before I had the courage to post it! I want to perfect my technique again.

i like the idea of this. i only joined today so obviously havent downloaded anything but its only courteous to show what you've made with it. i downloaded a prodigy instrumental from youtube a while ago and when id finished with it i uploaded it to youtube and posted it on the guys page to thank him for it. he really appreciated that!
