DJ Gear - advice needed!

Funny enough in the next few days i was going to be posting a selling thread on ebay so ill give you first refusal. It may be out of your price range but heres the kit i will be selling:

1x CDJ1000mk2 (with faulty track skip [back] button)
1x CDJ1000mk3 (mint condition)
1x DJM 500
2x Technics SL1210 mk2 (mint condition with concorde scratch cartridges)
70+ Record Collection (all mint condition)

Im upgrading my kit to 2x CDJ2000 so im selling up
 
Yo, you can always go for a cheaper pair of cdj's if u are beginer or starting out m8, but i advise you to get pioneers - the pioneer cdj 400 are quite cheap and there not bad, and a mixer worth looking at is a behringer djx700.

Buy stupid Pioneer because all stupid clubs have them and they're stupid to use so if you get there and don't know how to use them you will feel stupid. Stupid Pioneer.

Put more succinctly, if you ever want to play out you will be much less nervous about doing so if you're using the same equipment brand as you do at home. Thus avoiding "HOLY FUCK WHAT DID I PRESS WHY HAS IT STOPPED WORKING" moments. Unfortunately, unless you're in American Pioneer seem to have the club industry by the balls. Stupid Pioneer.
 
pioneers are the best cdj's out there at the mo, so dont know how u can say there stupid??? i have a set of cdj1000's and there awesome :)
 
looks like someone has had a bad experience with Pioneer and CDJs hehe. if you asking what are the best equipment brand id say Allen & Heath, but then your talking mucho deniro! plus with CD decks personally i think the Denons give the CDJs a run for their money, maybe even better (dare i say it).
 
noooooooooooo pioneers are the best lol - thats why all the top dj's use them....

All the top DJ's also wear t shirts that are too tight for them.

Mikey C needs to buy bigger shirts.

I've only pressed the play button on a cdj about 3 times. Then I just looked at myself in disgust and questioned my own integrity.

cdj's are the way forward dude, thats all i'm saying! and if u cant see that, then there something wrong hahaaa
 
Mikey_C ive used CDJs all my DJ career and yeah i live by em, recommend em and will probably always use them. The Denon CD players are on par with the CDJ, try them before you judge them. Big clubs use Pioneer equipment because of the name and the special deal they will get. Next time your in a club where there are Pioneer CDJs you can bet the mixer is also a pioneer, Allen & Heath make the best mixers, you cant argue that...

TFD - i have used denon cdjs, but still think pioneers are better, and i like the pioneer mixers, but allen & heath are awesome mixers :)

also used 1210 turntables, but prefer cdjs - to be honest.
 
Yea i think its down to personal preference these days with the advances in technical DJ kit... they can do anything, makes it easier for us so we can spend our time drinking beer and chatting up the girls muhahahaha.

Mikey, VibeOne has a very unique personality... dont be offended by some of the things he says, mostly they are meant in jest rather than a personal attack on your opinions lol. We love him for his humor and charm haha
 
lol erm thanks for the advice guys, think im gonna buy some stupid CDJ-350s and a stupid DJM-350 in the next few weeks :D
 
Am I Stupid Because I'd Rather A Good Old Pair Of Technics 1200's And Some Good Old School Vinyl Over Anything Else??? LMAO...
