biggest band in the world .. right now

ive just got back home from coldplay at wembley , massive concert... i was wondering... are they the biggest band in the world right now ? ... yes ok u2... rolling stones... but .... right now ? who does sold out around the world like that ? ... there is ed sheeran but im not sure he is at that level and surely has a shorter carrier ... but am i forgetting anybody ? im sure not everyone likes coldplay and even more sure that most people love the old coldplay and hate the new ones... but thats another story :)
 
Band wise you're probably correct, BTS seem to be doing rather well and OneRepublic are still hovering around. There's a few others like Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys, but unsure what their popularity is like globally. bts ... yes they are getting the numbers in but ... where will they be in 20 years ? hard to believe that the scientist is 20 y old!
i think only u2 get those numbers but they are from way back
