Best Studio Monitors?

Hey everyone!

Just wondering what your thoughts are on the KRK Rokit 6 series monitors?
I'm looking at getting a pair as I now have my desired set up, but nothing to test my tunes out on!
Are they very transparent or do they not give an accurate representation of the actual sound being produced?

Like I said i'm interested to hear what you guys think of them, as i've had no previous experience in buying external speakers.

Cheers :3

I agree with Sunny on this one.I like my own yamaha's (hs80ms) but I am used to them.Haven't heard the krks you mentioned though I'm sure you could dig up a review from Sound on Sound/Musictech/CM magazines to give you a heads up.
Hope i dont get booted 4 advertising lol :)

Thanks guys!

Yeah I'm planning to do that soon!
I was probably more just seeing if anyone had any serious trouble with them, haha!
Thanks again! :)

If you are talking best, then Event Opals are amazing, and Genelec 8040s are pretty incredible too. If you are comfortable setting up a sub, then the Adam A8s with a sub are good too, especially for dance music.

If you are looking for value for money, Samson Rubicons are great, and the Rokit's seem popular too (never used them myself though).
