Anyone here ever extracted usable stems from a 5.1 laserdisc?

I'm curious about this original laserdisc and dvd, I've been trying to find a Cure-Close to me acapella for a decade!
Anyone ever tried ripping a laserdisc?
 
If you have a laserdisc player with a digital output you should be able to rip the DTS or Dolby stream from it... good luck getting the disc and the player though! DVDs at least you can just rip with your PC, if you still have a DVD drive
