acapellas4all good or not good?

I was gonna join up the these guys, but after reading so many negative comments, I decided not to. There are some gems on there but ive read if you wait long enough, theyll be released anyway. Just got to be patient I guess.

I registered at A4A about a year ago but after my initial requests they stopped responding even though I was a "VIP Member". The site was a nightmare to navigate anyways.

Looks good at the first look, but you have to pay 10£, put a message on the site, wait the admin activate your account, then you can ask 1 pass... For next passes you NEED to make a remix with what you asked first and share it on the net and put a link to the site... Up to you, but pretty boring!

It's hopeless to fight that fool. Best thing to do is just dissuade as many people as possible from joining that garbage site! and if they don't listen and they
get ripped off, oh well.

There website is kind of sketch. I'd say they may be ok but definitely being a new member here at literecords.com, I'd say stick with these guys. They're more strict on keeping things to members and not outsourcing for leechers. (previous a4a member)

This is the LR forum... Formerly known as Lazy Records - we are now named Lite Records.

I joined A4A a year or little more ago and it was cool at first. I was able to get my 2 passwords per day with the exception some restricted stuff. After being a member for about 6 months and providing legitimate production proof I was told in another couple months I would eligible for restricted files. Well, a few months later I emailed for a non-restricted password and they said they'd changed they're operating model and that since I'd been a member for awhile I'd now have to subscribe in order to keep getting passwords. I decided to wait until I really wanted something. Last week I registered as a Premier member and it took a couple weeks to hear anything. Now, they're still telling me I can't have access to certain files.

It was absolute Shite!!.. I paid and got some crappy links every other day...
That's why I'm here at LR and this is nice and simple - the way it should be...
Plus that site was ugly too... erghhh:p

A4A owner known as Craig Vanity will never have a place here. He was a member here before he started A4A and we banned him soon after he launched A4A for leeching our files. The site is a money scam, he claims to have files which he actually dosnt and some files are not of the quality stated in the thread.

oh yeah, and then some. he tried to leech off me Take That's "Beautiful World" album instrumentals, the dyiacapellas I've made from them, as well as the matching album files (so he can make more himself). I had planned to get more files off him as a trade, but I think someone at BlackLabelled tipped him off. unfortunately he's befriended some of that site's staff members and they let him run rampant. it's probably the whole "keep your enemies closer" thing, but how does that really work in this case, when he's let loose that way, free to rip anything and anyone off? often makes me question the intelligence of said staff members over there.

I share freely because I'm a music lover and hoping others will enjoy my stuff as well, but I paid 200 euro for the ultra-rare "Beautiful World" EMI instrumentals promo cd, and 150 euro for "The Circus" instrumentals from the same band, and I'll be damned if I let that leech profit from it.

it's also good to know you don't have a rule against bashing that grotesque site. people at BL get bent out of shape by the mere mention of those bloody thieving initials. heh noone appreciates blunt honesty anymore

I wasnt aware of a relationship between A4A & BL, although it dosnt concern nor bother me in the slightest.

Here at LR we open our doors to any user willing to abide by our simple rules. There are many members on both BL & LR (myself included). I dont think its fair for me to critisize BL as i know the owner (Burton) does things his way and he is content with that, everyone to their own. We know you cant please everyone and some users choose some sites over others, its friendly competition i suppose.

I will add that LR leads the race in our sector right now and other sites such as deejay.me look towards us for inovation, this is why i wont let our rivals phase my decisions and policies. Ive provided a rep system & hide hack here to prevent our policies from being abused, such policies that i feel personally connected to. I'd like to hope the members here understand the theory behind the system and on some level support it.

Other sites may not LET you speak about certain things, i believe that the freedom of speech is a human right that is fast being extinquished today. If theres something i dont like then i will say so, if the originator dosnt like it then either improve it or ignore me. I give that same privilege to all the members on LR.
