Anyone else having logon issues with LR?

Hey guys,

Is anyone else having logon issues in the last couple of days?

I'm finding when I log in i'm getting kicked out immediately, then I have to log back in only to get kicked out again. After 3 or 4 logon's it seems to be fine for a few hours, then goes back to the same issue again.

I don't use auto login, or remember me at all. I have cleared my cache and tried without any addon's. I have also tried IE, Chrome and Firefox. Believe it or not IE is the least probelmatic of the three LOL ...... Half the time with Chrome and FireFox i constantly get kicked out or it wont let me view any pages if I do happen to get in.

Anyway just thought I would ask....

Hi mate, I'm using Firefox, and I noticed that they added a new right click option, "Open link in new private window". Make sure you are not doing that. What that does is open the page with no cookies, etc. So it asks you to log in again, because it's in "private viewing mode". I hope that helps.

Hey Chris,

Yeah no I'm not doing that .... I only used Firefox to test .... I usually use Chrome, but in this case I'm using IE just for LR as its giving the best results out of the three.

I'll keep monitoring and see how it goes....

Im using IE and sometimes experience this issue blade,only a new thing though...

didn't happen before
 
Ermm this is quite odd. I occasionally use all the major browsers to test new scripts for compatibility and i havnt had any problems. Maybe check your firewall for cookie blokcing to LR. Im not sure exactly what the issue is and nothing has been installed recently that could have anything to do with the login protocol.

Hey Brad & Gaz,

Yeah done all the standard troubleshooting .... Don't run any firewall software as I run a hardware firewall layer, and have tested without the firewall in the path as well, still no dice.

Seems to have been OK last night after my intial logon issues .... I did not have logon issues when I logged in today.

But yeah its just one of those things that will hard to pin point what's causing it......

I'll keep monitoring and let you know if it gets worse and we can pick it up again then .... Happy for you to close thread if you want.
