Heya all! First off a little "background story" regarding the topic:

At the moment I'm trying to create a reboot of a Mash-Up that Bob Sinclar plays quite frequently at his gigs (Mat's Mattara - Opera vs. Bob Sinclar - World hold on)
....and I'm going NUTS* here, because the vocal of Steve Edwards seem to be impossible to get. By now it's so damn frustrating, that my monitor is in imminent danger :p

All this also reminded me of old tracks/bootlegs/edits that I wanted to get hold of, but that never were released (mostly due to license issues).
For me personally those "special" tracks are:

  • George Michael - Careless Whisper (Antoine Clamaran & Sandy Vee Remix)
  • Ben Preston - Glorious (-> The unreleased first version)
  • Coldplay - Clocks (SHM Bootleg)
  • Vangelis - Blade Runner (Benny Benassi Bootleg)

How about you? Are there any unreleased tracks, that you still want to get your hands on?


* "Nuts" doesnt do this situation justice actually.....it's more like: I'm ready to fly to Miami to hunt B.S. down with a baseball-bat for all the frustration that this reboot caused already :D
 
I like to get my hands on multitracks - REAL multitracks like the ones that circulated a few years ago. I'm a big fan of old-school Quad and surround sound, so being able to remix songs into multichannel is so much fun. It really opens the music up and allows you to hear things better. Adding a dimension of directionality to the music too.

Songs I'd like to get my hands on?? Well, anything from Rocky Horror Picture Show - the whole album! I'd love to remix that into old fashioned Quad.
Some Early Eagles would be great like Take It Easy, Desperado, Witchy Woman.....
Anything from Elvis....
Disco!! Anything Disco!! I really believe Disco could have saved Quad back in the day. The Trammps, KC & The Sunshine Band, Barry White....
 
I've been always a big fan of unreleased tracks... There a lot of Britney Spears tracks that haven't leaked and I would love to have them... They sometimes leak... It depends... They used to leak more frequently before...
 
As long as this thread remains a "wish list" and not a "request list", I will leave it open.
 
There's only been one track for me. Some groovy electro remix DJ KOOL - LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT.

Ive heard a few bootlegs and mashups while I've been out and about and I usually just remake it for myself but better (ofcourse haha).

eulogy what track was the COLDPLAY - CLOCKS with? I've found a couple thanks to google. Plus the CARELESS WHISPER remix is on YouTube so someone clearly has it, try contacting the poster.
 
Probably the unreleased Guetta mix of Scatman John's 'Scatman'...... ha just kidding, there is a few but one that comes to mind at the moments is 'Alesso - Where'd You Go' can only find rips and don't think its been released

The one song I've longed for on the order of about 15 years or so is Madonna's Like A Prayer. It's my all time favorite Madonna song and I've done three different remixes of it over the years (2 actually Madonna and 1 using the glee version). I couldn't think of anything else to wish for music wise.

haven't really got an unreleased track I want..but in terms of multi-tracks...I'd do anything to get my hands on the multi-tracks to Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve...it's my favourite track of all time. Would literally pay someone to get my hands on it..just so I could listen to all the individual elements that make the track so incredible. I wouldn't even want to remix it..would just want to listen.

This thread is for tracks, not stems. Lets try and keep it that way please.

With the range of the internet these days their should be a very rare few that cant be found.
 
I kinda hope I can hear the full version of Lady Gaga's "Out of Control" the song sounded so good at first listen and never heard of it since may be 2010!
 
I'd love anything that is 'True Quality' meaning the original song, edited or unedited, as long as it's in the studio using the original audio, so that it's alloriginal I love original songs, especially those songs made from 'way back when' on original, or amazing copies of, the tapes.

Just in case you didn't understand. I would like original stuff :)
