erm Braddy....trustworthiness is fickle. there's really no way to know how things will pan out. you may think one person is trustworthy until they pull a 180 on you somewhere down the line. as long as you have ammunition against them beforehand to pay them back for it though, it's all peachy

.
personally I have my own system. if people are being good to me, I reward them back. if people decide to fuck with me, I fuck them back. doesn't matter who it is. this way, it makes the matter crystal clear, black n white. leaves no room for confusion or misinterpretation. because with LR specifically, as said above, much of the material is recycled from other places. I don't know how much LR-exclusive stuff there is at this point, not to mention many of your premium members are also prominent members and even staff members on other identical sites like Blacklabelled. so trustworthiness obviously wasn't a factor when those members became premium.
or did you think they'd favor LR over their own site clan when it comes to quality rare content? did they say they would? gave their word? well, if someone gives their word over the internet, then it's just GOTTA be legit, rite? actions speak much louder than words, especially when you're on opposite sides of the world with no fear of real consequences. right, Mr. Vasey? *wink wink*
as for the actual content itself, quality indeed matters, depending on what you wanna do with it. I prefer to diy stuff when it's lossless, but I've found that high quality mp3s do fine as well. and on the topic of moogs and remix packs, well people might only want the acapella or a particular instrument, and don't want to download the whole thing (as many of them tend to be in wave form), so yeah I say more power to content variety.
it's not like the staff members upload everything on the site's personal servers or something. people do all the uploading themselves (usually) and they maintain the uploaded material on their own, so it's their own time they're spending

. if they wanna upload the acapella of an already-available moog or remix pack, it's their problem.
