To make it easier we have put the install file for the Amazon Fire Stick to our server. You can download the file via Downloader or ES Explorer from http://kodi.literecords.com.

Before we go through the walkthrough guide...
Firstly let's presume you have purchased an Amazon Fire TV Stick, have read the instructions, assembled cables correctly and inserted into your TV's HDMI input and have the microUSB from the stick connected to either USB plug or USB port of your TV. You have also registered and linked your Amazon account to your Fire Stick.

To ensure you don't have an issues with compatibility check your device's firmware is up to date.
[HOME] settings > system > about > [check for system update]

Kodi download & install guide


  1. [HOME] settings > developer options > apps from unknown sources [ON]
  2. [HOME] search "Downloader' >[Install] or [Get] (which ever one it displays)
  3. [HOME] Launch Downloader (found in recent or apps)
  4. In the URL field type http://kodi.literecords.com > [Download]
  5. Run through the on-screen download and installation instructions
  6. [HOME] Launch Kodi (found in recent or apps)

The Kodi URL we have provided in this guide downloads & installs the latest build of Kodi (17.1 Krypton).

Installing Add-On (This guide will be slightly different for other builds of Kodi)

Now your Kodi is installed you can search the web for add-ons. To get you started we recommend Exodus. Exodus is a library of movies and TV shows from a massive collection of sources.

  1. [HOME] Launch Kodi
  2. settings > system > add-ons > unknown sources [ON]
  3. [YES] from dialog window
  4. settings > file manager > add source
  5. [<'none'>] type http://fusion.tvaddons.ag
  6. Enter a name for this media source type Fusion
  7. Proceed back to Kodi's home screen
  8. [Add-Ons]
  9. [Open New] (icon of an open box)
  10. [Install from ZIP file]
  11. fusion > xmbc-repos > repository.exodus.x.x.x.zip
  12. Proceed back to Kodi's home screen
  13. add-ons > install from repository > exodus repository > video add-ons > exodus
  14. [Install]

If you wish to discuss this further, I might add some info about mouse toggle for fire tv stick to give the fire tv stick remote a mouse functionality to use with apps not so friendly with the remote.

I use the Fire TV Remote app (iOS/Android) to navigate better. You can use the mouse cursor on desktop by default cant you?
 
Covenant Kodi is in danger as Colossus Repo is down

Yesterday colossus repo went down taking away with a lot of best working Kodi addons with it. In which Covenant kodi was the one which suffered the most as it had thousands of users. But fortunately another repo that is kodil has given a life to Covenant kodi and allows this addon to be installed on Kodi.

Thanks. I used Covenant from another repo (luckily). I see from the Kodi Facebook page that a lot of repo's are dropping recently and there is more to follow. Hopefully we can keep up with them and share the most up-to-date links for members.
 
Exodus, previously developed by Cold Fire is now back in the Kodi world. Now you can install Exodus Kodi with XvBMC Repository, TkNorris Repository and Kodil Repository with the latest Kodi Krypton 17.6,
Other than that install Covenant Kodi with working repositories i.e XvBMC Repo and Kodil Repo, Colossus, Ares and Smash Repo wont support covenant anymore.
 
Yea ive found Covenant is almost all 'no stream available', it's tricky to keep up with the add-ons that work. Ive noticed Exodus is back up (to an extent) on the xbox version of Kodi.

The most popular Exodus Kodi 17.6 is back with new working repositories i.e (TKNorris, XvBMC and Kodil Repo).
Similarly Covenant Kodi 17.6 is up with new working repositories i.e (All Eyes On Me, XvBMC and Kodil Repo). Install Covenant Kodi or Exodus Kodi with New Working Repositories and enjoy movies and tv shows.

Hey,
Yes, Covenant Kodi was down a few weeks ago. And you also know that it is up again. But there is a slight change in the Addon. The original developers are not maintaining the addon anymore. Now, this addon is being operated, maintained and updated constantly by different famous repositories like KodiBae, Kodil, XVBMC, etc. However, they scrap and fetch the content the same way from the internet. In fact, they are now providing the addon even much better. Though we it is not guaranteed that you'll be receiving any malware from it. But it is working very well till date. You can get more info on Covenant Kodi and installation guide on how to install on Kodi v17.6, below it and also on Kodi v18.0. You can also see there how this addon is working on different devices like Amazon FireTV, Nvidia ShieldTV, and much more
 
Exodus build works better than Covenant, i'll be sticking to that until anything happens.

Since there was a frequent Kodi addons crackdown witnessed in the past months, now these Kodi addons are available on Kodi Israel aka kdil. and the best part is that all the addons official and third-party addons are now compatible on Kodi v18 and can also be side loaded on Xbox One Kodi 18.
