Why does rating threads give +1 download credit??

THat is ridiculous. Especially when you're rating a thread as "terrible" with 1 star because the stuff is poor quality and incorrectly labelled.

I would imagine simply because the member contributed and the +credit might help them to do better. I do realize a credit is already given for the upload. No idea for sure.

In this case the offending user being "heymoxx" who has been on Lite for 11 years, so by now he should know how to properly label something as official or filtered. So no, he should not be receiving an extra download credit every time his threads are downvoted.

Normally this wouldn't be much of an issue, but with the new download restrictions it's definitely an issue for pretty much everyone who isn't a Gold member.

The plugin where a thread author receives a credit when that thread is rated was designed to encourage users to visit the 'user remixes and tracks' forum, it has since been forgotten. In light of this concern i will be changing this plugin.

In regards to Pro account holders (GOLD), they also have daily resource limits.
