Where to start ?

I wanna be a producer but no idea where to start ? What DAW to use ? or anything ? I currently make mash ups and edits with very basic software (Letsmix audio edit, Adobe Audtion, Goldwave). Any help would be great ? Thanks

If you're using the multitrack mode in Audtion, yuo're halfway there. I've since moved on to REAPER for most of my stuff.

Yes I am, just a bit difficult to navigate round to find the simplest things i.e changing key/pitch, tempo. Thanks for your help and I'll check out reaper.

I recommend looking at demo's of as many DAW's as you can find. Decide which one looks to suit you best. YouTube can be our friend then, look for tutorials. Any further assistance we can help here on the forums

You can do this in AA if you press shift-G : stretch, or F2 in Reapr

You may as well blow your mind from word go and avoid the journey in between
