What is included in Rocksmith DLC?

Is it like RB/GH with separated tracks or is it something entirely different?

I'm thinking about making a DLC request or two from RS but would like what it is before I use 5 or 10 credits.

Does anybody know?

It's something entirely different.
Rocksmith has the ENTIRE track, all of it, like what you'd buy from iTunes or whatever.
It then lets you play over the track with your own guitar.
It does, however, include something to show you what notes to play, and has info on a setup to get key tones for the specific song.
I wonder if that's a MIDI, or another sequencing file...

Anyway, yeah.
But Rocksmith does include a 3/4-Inch to USB cord though, which I've used a few times with my PC to record guitar tracks, but it's nothing professional, and sounds sort of muffled even with a quite high-quality guitar.

The files from the original disc for Xbox360 are m4a, but I think the PC one's are lossless, having more computing power/room.

I have the game beat, and that's all I could find for it.
I did see some settings for vocal volume when I plugged in a mic for later use on Rockband 3, but never explored that.

Really? I thought they'd at least use the backing track version (with guitar sound missing) so you can play over it... in other word, you just play your guitar OVER the original track?
