USB DJ Controllers

Nu-Vizion

Superstar DJ
As some of you know I am now signed onto digital soundwurx :) as part of my progression I want to get more xp as a dj... now i have done a number of nights in local boozers but i dont think thats gonna cut it at an event, so before i move onto CDJs was gonna try having a play with a controller summit a bit more advanced than my DJ2Go summit like the pioneer DDJ Ergo(but without that price tag)

any suggestions... oh needs to be mappable to either VDJ or traktor btw ;)

Peace N-V

the pro 2 looks pretty streamline m8,nowhere you can go get a hands on with any of them?

I used to use the Torq Xponent and really rated them but moved onto CDJ's due to the stick I'd get from other DJ's. You can use CDJ's such as Pioneer 900's and other similar which have a USB connection and can be used to great effect with serato

I love my Traktor S4, but thats not to say you dont actually have to use a 'DJ' controller. If you are skilled enough with some other controller, say an MPD or APC, you could easily map those to anything (i say easily...) and have more, or different, tools at your disposal.
