Please make threads readable

The_Rock_Band

Superstar DJ
I know you have to pay to download stuff but can you please make threads readable so I can read threads and see if I want to upgrade.

I'm gonna guess this has been proposed hundreds of times. I suggested that myself, but as the Rules/FAQs say, all comments and questions regarding the unaccesible Download areas are ignored. :(

You dont always need to pay. If you have stuff like stems, acapellas, instrumental etc which are not posted here you can post them earning 1 credit per post.

Yeah, like djtayz said, you don't really need to pay to get credits. you can post instrumentals and acapellas that haven't leaked yet, plugins for audio softwares, music video files. And you will also get credits if people reply to your thread. :)

As far as I'm concerned, we already have most of stuff for sharing in the vault, new members can hardly find anything to post there for credits.

What The_Rock_Band said is perfectly reasonable - you SHOULD be able to see what you want to pay for as some kind of previews, this is common for any trading system. I've seen a lot of topic with collections whereas I'm looking for just a single track, but being unable to view the thread without a subscription is really frustrating - you'd bet your money/credit on a 50/50 that the track exist in that topic or not. This was also the reason I'm posting single track topic even if I already have a whole collection in one topic - that way guests can use the Search function to look up the track they are looking for. But then not everyone will be kind enough to do so.

Sadly, the admins of LiteRecords don't want that. Actually, a lot of stuff has not been posted yet.

Answer: Yes, but you don't have to buy. Yes, 1 credit per download.

BTW, you have ONE credit. You need 5 just to access the download vault. Then it is one credit per download.

There are two kind of subscriptions: You can either buy Credits in order to see/reply topics at the Vault - it will be pay-per-download (each reply costs 1 credit). Or, you can upgrade to PRO account for unlimited download (no need to reply) for the duration you choose.

Credits are also earned via sharing stuff on the Vault, but as I mentioned earlier, most instrumentals are already there so it's hard for new members to share anything.

Yes, if it takes more than 48 hours, PM Brad, He handles all subscriptions.

When I first started in the LR community I had the same problem. I understand your frustration, but there is light at the end of the tunnel! I found the "Dead Links" section and went effing ham on it! That's where a lot of my beginning credits came from! Then when I started digging around the Stem/ multitrack world, I was able to start filling requests (I would check with a MOD before filling a request though, as you may have stumbled upon something still being traded, and you wouldn't want to be labelled a "leaker", now would you?). The rest? Well that comes in time sir.
