Paralel compression on drums

Does anyone uses parallel compression on drums? Between which parts?

Snare x hi hat?
Kick x snare?
Cymbals...

Parallel compression. Good to know people still talk about this. Hardly used. I used to use it a lot on kicks & snares. But nowadays there are so many vst's that do the job and hence make your life easier.
