Hello all, I was out last night and saw a 40-something year-old playing top 40 songs with backing tracks, but was playing along with a keyboard as well. The tracks he was playing along with sounded pretty authentic, but they may have been well-done midi. I'm totally new to this - is it possible to find separate instrument tracks to current pop songs? What would be a good way to get started with this kind of stuff? I used to be in a band & if we did a cover with backing tracks I would program everything in LOGIC manually (took FOREVER!), I can't imagine this guy actually programmed all his music. Any ideas?
