I found this service by accident, lol. PhonicMind.com is absolutely amazing. What they do is basically, you upload a song and their AI algorithm removes vocals almost perfectly. Its insane.
They give you a vocal removed version and an acapella version. Acapellas dont always come out great, but instruemntals tend to work wonders. I highly recommend it.
 
It's getting more common, there is even a few stuff made from this site on here and it's really incredible. I wish they supported lossless formats and made the prices more affordable.

Btw, this method is quite old. ADX Trax had it and I believe some other softwares.

Yeah I even mentioned to them to consider a subscription service, and to offer unlimited previews for those that make purchases. I was having to find a workaround by turning on my VPN and connection to different browsers to bypass the limit. lol. I've gotten 8 songs so far, and have 2 more left. Totally worth the $20 bucks though, since the songs I wanted are ones that will likely never get released or aren't well enough known for someone to try to make an instrumental/acapella of.

Speaking of ADX, I did some research and found they only have it supported for mac which is a bummer. I have a windows pc.

i'm bout 2 run some Kristian Lundin songs like Tearin' Up My Heart, Can't Make You Love Me through there and tell me if it can really extract those nuanced synths that often have frequency overlap with the vocals

edit: it's really good at isolating the drum and bass track, but for keys, stabs, and pads it kinda lost em. If they're charging 2 bucks a song shouldn't their AI take more than 1 minute to do the work? Maybe 4-5 minutes would work better? idk better than doing it in sourceforge by hand over 20 hours that's for damn sure.

i bet this thing KILLS 90's rap instrumentals tho, i will buy this thing just to do eminem songs

I just purchased the 20 song bundle.
 
Rock songs typically sound a lot better then songs with like painos and synths because it hides the vocal removing ability better. I'd done songs by Autopilot Off and Breathe Electric and they come out really well. Compared to songs like by Adele for example or other similar sounds artists.
 
It definitely removes the atmosphere of a song but I've found a way to add it back so the i instrumental sounds more full but it doesn't work for every song.
 
I'm unsure if sites like phonicmind will help sites like us at LiteRecords or hinder?!? The main difference is that PhonicMind seems quite pricey at the moment
