My Empty Room Recordings

What are you using to capture these. Your noise floor is ridiculous :) I playing the skeptic here Fox hope you don't mind.

Here are some de-noised versions of what you sent along with regular noise floor levels. ;;)

- 01 (Explain this to me) 2aBass: You'll need a sub for this one. I heard something similar to that before during a recording. Turned out to be a dump-truck outside. It was inaudible to us but the mic picked up the resonating floor.

- 01 (Explain this to me) - Sounds like a cabinet opening and someone walking around VERY slowly. (Possibly a zombie or old school mummy) The footsteps and the cabinet movements do not sound in the same space or distance from the recorder. I also hear a metallic hit and a metallic bonk near the end.

- 03 Get Up Mate: Sounds like a cabinet hinge or a shutter closet closing.

- 03 Unknown: Sound like a door or cabinet closing, opening and closing followed by a different style of door closing. All of the recorded rhythmic pops are identical enough to phase cancel each other and they happen 641ms apart.

- Nice House: Not sure what that is.

- Go: That is someone saying "Go".

I couldn't make anything out of the rest. I would recommend a new recorder with noise cancellation to remove the shuttle launch loudness levels in that room Fox. :p Thanks for sharing them!!
