is lazy record ready for remix/mash up competitions?

right guys we are at 225 members don't really know how many are really active but, do you think we are ready for some kind of remix/mash up comp?
maybe it will generate new members and bring some "i think" well needed excitement to the site.
mods/tfdj can decide prizes e.t.c

i agree that im kinda lost now as to what to do to create a better (more sociable) atmosphere here on LR. all competition ideas are welcomed, and ovcourse include rep (as minimum) as a reward.

I'm for whatever. Id like to try a challenge sort of thing, like "Use this soudnsample, use this synth, use acoustic guitar etc.:

since .co.uk closed up forums a lot of us have lost that inspiration. even tho DoA is opening another music forum after givin up on the idea I still wanna keep the name of Lazy Records alive!!

Yea I agree. I for one want LR to be back to it original state. And we all will do what we can mate! As for a remix comp, I dont know if I will participate as I hardly get time with work and kiddo and all. I am not gonna be able to do much with a deadline. So might give this one a miss. Might not. Lets see.

Well it seems most of us have other priorities at the moment, so maybe a competition is an event best kept until more practical times.
