Idea for sharing cost of a request

Hypex

Mega Producer
Hey guys.

A song request takes ten credits. I can see no guarantee those credits would be refunded if the request isn't fulfilled. After reading the How to. Ten credits can be a lot for a song that may not be posted. An existing song is only one credit.

This gives me an idea to share the load. If someone is interested in a song and they can find other backers, they could all give enough to fulfil the ten credits needed. They each only lose one credit regardless of it being fulfilled.

So my proposal would be. A request for interest is put up for a song. Other people interested would commit their interest. Each person would be charged a credit. Once ten people are interested and ten credits are put in, the request is officially added to the request list in the forum.

I can see this may be hard to integrate in the current system. My thinking was to distribute the load, to encourage more people to post requests. One person spending ten credits looks less likely than ten people spending one credit.

While i understand that 10 credits can be a heavy amount for members who have very few i do feel it's sufficient. 'Splitting the cost' will not be a valid method of posting a request. A request will never be marked as unfilled and discarded, it has been known for requests to be filled many years later.

To have access to sharing is a privilege for members in the community and not a standard service. We offer many ways for members to acquire credits and even the option to purchase credits through one of our account upgrades.

No worries. We always appreciate suggestions though.
