Did this some time back actually. but as long as i'm here. Here go.
Acapella for Pikachu's Goodbye was made by me. Might end up posting it.
 
Nice effort but not in sync and the source quality is low for both parts (you already know about the quality as it is DIY and a slowed down instrumental).

Solid effort and idea.
 
Instrumental's not slowed down. Pitch is just a little higher. As for it not being in sync. That's arguable, imo. I thought it synced up alright.
I couldn't find a higher quality instrumental for HtSaL back then, before I got it, myself.
