Just stumbled across this forum while searching for some tracks and I'm happy to have found it! This pandemic has been a bit rough on me, so I'm looking to dust off Cubase and get working on stuff again. I'm a musician and I don't really do remixes, I just love listening to isolated tracks and doing little stripped down edits.

I have always been put off by the trading scene, so I'm hoping this place is different than the places I would frequent a decade of so ago!

What instruments do you play?

We don't take too kindly to trading, if you have something to share, simply share and let people as they please with whatever they choose.
 
Oh yeah, doing alright, thanks. Just looking forward to things getting back to normal.

Mainly I'm a bassist, but I also sing backups and play a bit of guitar (though I haven't really played guitar in years)

Thats great - Ive never understood why the scene tries to be so exclusive. if you have something cool, why not put it out there? I highly doubt that I have anything not already listed here, but I'm on page 16 and so far theres a couple I haven't seen.

Hopefully it gets back to normal soon for you, I'm waiting 3-4 weeks before I can get back to work.

That's interesting, I played drums in college, been looking to pick it back up lately.

And even if it's obscure stuff like some of my own posts, it is still worth being posted.
 
Nah, everything I already have is pretty common, or at least I assume it is. I'll do a good search in the next couple days. Unless anybody wants my unknown bands files haha

Really? I haven't seen anything similar posted yet, but if it's welcome then why not. It's actually kind of fun to play with, the recordings are old and we didn't really know what we were doing so there's a tonne of audio to play with - bunch of mics and positions so we could mess around in editing/mixing

A vital member to the forum, CringeLord posted the multitrack for one of his former band's song as it was to be featured in a game.

I do love editing audio.

Cool! We are a fun local band with no ambitions for much else. These songs are super old at this point but I'm proud of them. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but considering we did it all ourselves (excluding mixing and mastering) I'm really happy with it. Maybe I'll toss up my favourite song and if there is >0 interest at all I'll put up the rest!

Alright, here you go! This is a slight hassle for me to get together - my organization makes sense to me and probably nobody else so it takes a bit to sort before posting. If you like this and want the rest, or if anybody else takes an interest, I'm more than happy to go through the rest so let me know! It wasn't my intention to post these when I joined here and I definitely don't want to assume anybody would want to look at the songs, but it's definitely cool if they do!

You've already made a very positive start here, I wish every member was like you!
It's great to see you posting some of your band's stems too, there are some keen producers/remixers here who like to work with unknown/unreleased material so don't be surprised to see your tracks made into some trance track at some point lol.
