Help With This Effect??

Okay... So I hear this effect a lot in many songs. I was wondering if someone could help me out? I've tried searching on what to call it and I haven't had any luck. Here's an example:

if u mean from going muffled to loud n clear mate and ur on FL use the Fast LP automation

Do you mean from 0.08 - 0.14? If so, it's just a low pass filter.

A low pass filter is a filter that passes low frequency signals but reduces the amplitude of signals with frequencies higher than the cutoff frequency.
