I want I want! I sure could use it. I have been wanting to put up my stuff in another space, other than soundcloud as I have been getting requests from people for site other than Myspace. Now my own LR space will work wonders for it will advertise well for this site as well. It will help us all promote this site as much as we can.
 
Oh nice brad, It would be awfully useful to have something other than DeviantArt and TheSixtyOne to promote my media :p
Plus my Info Tech teacher would be awfully impressed if I had my own webspace :p

i'm a little thick about this sort of thing, how do we access our FTP space and our LR email? :s
 
You access your FTP through either Windows Explorer or an FTP client. The emails are forwarded to your default mail which you gave upon requesting the mail extension.
 
No form or registration method, simply request it in this thread and i will sort it. Emails are only available to VIP/Gold members but web space/FTP is available to all members. Check the original post for quotas.
 
so gold or vip members are determined by the amount of rep you have or? please mind my ignorance

i was on the old forum for a while, had lotsa rep, now i have to start building it all over again :(
 
@Zypher: VIP membership is like the old LR, you must be nominated by 3 current VIPs or staff. A GOLD account is something i havnt yet fully introduced. A GOLD account is something members can buy (like reps or VIP permit). The GOLD account will disable all restrictions on site, no need for reps, access to all VIP areas and will see all hidden content without replying. This feature will be £29.99 (GBP) a year or £50.00 (GBP) one-off payment for life.
 
What exactly do you mean by build a page cause its sounds good, could i even promote my crazy dance moves video haha. Only joking i know the world isn't ready for something that futuristic, but it sounds good if you mean what i am thinking.
 
Basically promote, broadcast or advertise what you wish. Excluding pornography (of any kind) and illegal substance for purchase or re-production anything is allowed.
