A question about acapella requests and DIYs

I probably should post this in the REQ section but it's not a request as such just a question really..
Is there anyone that dabbles in making their own acapellas here on LR? Just wondering, as there's some
mashups I would love to make but I'm just not good enough to make my own acapellas. Thanks for any input
