EDIT: I LOVE the fact that the rules here are so simple, but it would be nice to be able to easily contact an admin or moderator without PM'ing to clarify when grey areas arise.
As for the trading area, it would be nice to know (or be able to converse with the trader), what they would be willing to trade for prior to setting up a trade account which might be utterly useless otherwise.
And a better search engine, especially for people without access (less than minimum credits), to know if they are actually reposting something that is already available. Possibly, a master list with links to the threads? Just a thought.

I am about to mention something that was suggested a while ago...
when you look at the latest posts, they are displayed "newest" post at the top..
but the replies are listed oldest first..if a member has replied and then later added
an edit to inform everyone of a dead link, and there are several pages of replies,
then the information about that dead link may not be viewed..
so I think the replies should be displayed newest first..descending

I think there needs to be a MASH-UP page/forum, aside from the REMIX page/forum............mash-ups are not the same as an original remix
A few edits need to be made to the "Why has my registration been declined?" section of the FAQ page.
Regardless if any members other than staff have known this, but when people register to become a member, and they provide a valid social media link, we don't accept them to the forum if their social media page hasn't had a post within the last 6 months. At that point, we can't confirm if you are just providing an outdated link for something to paste into the registration form, or if you're active enough online to be deemed as an active member of the forum if you join.
Also, it needs to be addressed that we don't accept people as forum members if they provide us social media links that leak content. Registrants who do that have the mentality of "If I show them what I distribute, they'll be impressed, and I'll be a member for sure!". That's not the case. No one really looks at it from our standpoint: If you are proud to be posting all these leaks to your page (for personal gain or not), it only tells us that you're only planning on becoming a "member" just to misuse Download Vault, and re-post it to your social media page. That completely negates not just the credit system, but the forum rules as well.
It would be nice for people to see those details when they register or read the forum rules, and I think it would help make the member community here stronger.

Wouldn't it just be easier just to rename the sub-forum to "Your Remixes/Mashups" anyway?

The search function is locked to the "any keywords" mode and there is no Advanced Search to refine our search, so we end up wading through 60+ search results each time to find what we want.

I agree with wizfrikiman, the site in general is pretty well-rounded but the search function could be improved
EDIT: Additionally, an uploader should be sent a notification if someone reports his link as dead.
It would also be useful to have an option to replace someone's uploaded file with one of better quality, instead of having multiple redundant threads for different quality files.

We should be able to spend rep buy a trading account. It can be for a limited time so people won't scam

I think one change that everyone will agree upon is a "New Threads" tab at the top of the webpage where the 'New Posts' and 'Private Messages' tabs are. Everyday I log-on to LiteRecords.com and click the 'New Posts' tab to see what's new, but this tab not only shows new threads but also old threads with new posts.
I think we should have a new "New Threads" tab just for showing new threads only so that way we don't have to scroll through and spot out new threads among older bumped threads that have new posts. I want to see new threads each day, not new posts on old threads that say 'thanks' on them.
But I think its important to still keep the 'New Posts' tab so that way new users can see older threads that they have not seen before. A "New Threads" tab will ultimately help and be beneficial to the long-term, loyal users who have already seen every old thread.

Well, I can understand the rule with no using outside links for trading, but when I've tried to upload things for trading on "LiteCloud", I can't upload them at all because everything is above the upload limit. Is there any way we could possibly work around that to ensure that there isn't too much of a limit where most, if not all, files can't be uploaded at all?

I'll second an improved search function.
Perhaps for me, the most irritating part of this site is the chatbox up at the top. When trying to read the chat log, it forces itself to the end of the chat every few seconds, meaning I have to go find the stop I was at... by which time, it's forced itself to the end all over again...

Hi all: My main problem is that the English and Literecords not be fixed. hahaha
Me and my wife use literecord main activity on the Internet, we're both musicians and we really like the multitracks for use with students.
Honestly I have no great reviews on LR at least in the parts I use.
But participate and comment.
I agree with improving the search engine and I would like to get secction trading songs, but I have access to things that "rare or non-commercial" one might have some other way to access a song of trading secction?
